Iron/Sew on – important attachment instructions

The iron-on adhesive is not permanent. You must stitch the patch securely around its edge, even after ironing. Ironing only helps position the patch before sewing.

1. Check the garment care label first. Use sewing only for heat-sensitive, waterproof, coated, nylon, leather or delicate fabrics.
2. Place the clean, dry garment on a firm heat-resistant surface and position the patch.
3. Cover with a clean pressing cloth. Use a dry iron without steam, at a temperature suitable for the fabric. Press firmly without sliding; avoid direct contact between the iron and embroidery.
4. Allow to cool completely, then stitch securely around the entire edge.

Adhesive can fail because of insufficient heat or pressure, steam or moisture, textured or coated fabrics, washing, tumble drying, repeated bending or wear. Sewing is required for a lasting attachment.

Care: wash gently inside out at a low temperature. Avoid bleach, tumble drying and ironing directly on the embroidery.
