Backing:

• Sew-On – Traditional stitched application for maximum durability. We recommend that you always apply a few stitches, as iron on is not a permanent solution.
• Iron-On – Heat-activated backing for quick and easy application (can also be stitched for extra security).

How to Apply Your Iron-On Patch

Use this wording:

1. Place the patch onto a clean, dry garment.
2. Set your iron to a medium-high heat with no steam.
3. Cover the patch with a thin cotton cloth.
4. Press firmly for approximately 20–30 seconds without moving the iron.
5. Turn the garment inside out and press the reverse side for another 20–30 seconds.
6. Allow the patch to cool completely before checking the edges.

For extra security, especially on frequently washed garments, we recommend adding a few stitches around the edge.

Important: Do not iron directly onto waterproof fabrics, leather, nylon or other heat-sensitive materials. These patches must have an iron-on backing for this method to work.
