D-Day We Will Remember Them 1944-2027 80mm Embroidered Patch

Honour the courage and sacrifice of those involved in the Normandy landings of 6 June 1944 with this commemorative D-Day embroidered patch. A lone soldier by the Normandy shoreline overlooking approaching landing craft with the words WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.

Created as an 83rd anniversary remembrance tribute for 2027, this design is suitable for collectors, military history enthusiasts and commemorative displays.

Iron/Sew on instructions

Apply only to clean, dry, suitable heat-resistant fabric. Check the garment's care label and follow the adhesive backing's temperature guidance. Position the patch and cover it with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Use a dry iron with steam switched off and press firmly without sliding for approximately 20–30 seconds, provided this temperature and duration are suitable for the fabric and backing. Where safe, press from the reverse side as well. Allow to cool completely before checking the bond.

Important: The iron-on adhesive is not a permanent fixing. Every patch must be secured with a few stitches around its edge, even after ironing, for a lasting attachment. On leather, PVC, waterproof or coated garments, nylon and other heat-sensitive fabrics, do not iron the patch on; sew it instead.

Care

Wait at least 24 hours before washing. Wash gently inside out, avoid tumble drying and never iron directly onto the embroidery.
