Iron/Sew on application

The heat-activated adhesive is not a permanent fixing. Every patch must be secured with stitches, including after ironing. Adhesion can fail because of temperature, pressure, application time or the fabric used.

1. Check the garment care label. Use clean, dry, heat-tolerant fabric. For waterproof, coated, delicate or heat-sensitive fabrics, sew on without ironing.
2. Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface and position the patch.
3. Cover with a clean cotton pressing cloth. Use a dry iron with steam off at a temperature safe for the garment and suitable for the adhesive; follow the supplied backing instructions.
4. Press firmly without sliding for the time specified in the supplied backing instructions. Never exceed garment care limits.
5. Allow to cool completely before checking the edges.
6. Secure every patch with stitches around the edge, even if the adhesive appears firmly bonded.

Care: wash gently inside out and air dry. Avoid direct ironing on the embroidery.
