Description
Description
Celebrate Scotland's national poet with this Burns Night Pipes & Poetry patch. The design combines traditional bagpipes, a writing quill, a purple thistle and the Scottish Saltire.
- Size: approximately 80mm diameter
- Shape: round with black embroidered border
- Backing: Iron/Sew on
- Ideal for jackets, bags, garments and Scottish heritage collections
Iron/Sew on application instructions
Position the patch on a clean, dry, heat-safe fabric. Check the garment care label before applying heat. Cover the patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth and press firmly with a dry iron at a temperature suitable for the fabric, working in short intervals. Do not slide the iron. Allow it to cool fully before checking adhesion. Avoid direct heat on delicate or unsuitable fabrics.
Important: Iron-on adhesive is not a permanent fixing. Every patch must also be secured with a few stitches around the edge, including when ironed on, to keep it firmly attached through wear and washing. For heat-sensitive garments, sew the patch on without ironing.
